Hello!
My name is Chelse Spinner, and I label myself as an 22 year old African American, single female, first year University of South Florida graduate student from Pickerington, Ohio. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in Spring 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences, a focus on Biomedical Studies, and a minor in Health Education. I have also obtained two certificates, one in Minority Health and the other in Global Health Studies. I currently attend the University of South Florida pursuing a Masters in Public Health, with concentrations in Maternal and Child Health and Epidemiology. I hope to go on to get my doctorate degree in Epidemiology after completing my graduate degree. I have the hopes of one day working in Maternal/Child Health and help to work toward decreasing the infant mortality rate in urban cities. I am eternally grateful for my education from the University of Cincinnati! I am excited to see what the University of South Florida has in store, so please enjoy my continued journey here on my learning portfolio!
